I was sorely disappointed with my last rendering of Zack for Kingdom Hearts. My wife has had me playing Kingdom Hearts 2 whenever I have a spare moment for her viewing enjoyment. After a good while of reiterating to myself that Sora's fighting style is exactly how I'd have Zack fight in my own 3D game, save with more force from his sword, and going through various FF7 themed scenes, I was moved to make a second attempt at this concept.
And I reiterate, I detest the very concept of mixing Disney with FF, and the only difference between Tetsuya Nomura and other bad cross-over fanfic writers is Nomura has authorization. But alas, I'm a loyal Zack fan. And if Zack appeared in such a game, I'd willingly play instead of playing to appease the Mrs.
Yes, this will be colored properly after I graduate.
I admit, I like this redesign, and found the Nomura rule to be very true: "If you find a bland spot in your design and can't figure out what to put there for a bit of flair, just add more buckles." My God, it's so true.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
